Camille A. KillensIN MEMORIAM: Camille Ann Killens 1957-2005

Funeral services for Camille Ann Killens, 47, of Detroit, Mich., were held in the chapel of Cloud and Son Funeral Home in Cairo on Friday, May 13 with the Rev. H.L. Flowers Jr. officiating.

Interment followed in the Cairo City Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Ms. Killens died May 6, 2005, at Providence Hospital in Detroit after a lengthy illness. She was born in Detroit and attended the public schools there. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. She was employed as a research book editor.

Survivors include two sisters, Kathleen C. Killens of Idlewild, Mich., and Monica C. Gant of Columbus, Ohio; and other relatives.

Cloud and Son Funeral Home of Cairo was in charge of arrangements.
