Baltimore Sun on December 5, 1845 ~:

TWENTY DOLLARS REWARD - Ranaway from the subscriber, living near Towsontown, on Tuesday, 25th inst., a NEGRO BOY by the name of Henry Hilton, about 19 years of age, very dark, and of a sullen look; a small scar on the cheek, occasioned by a burn; had on dark cassinet pants, blue flock coat, and fine Jefferson boots. The above reward will be paid if returned to me.

Baltimore Sun on November 17, 1845 ~:

$25 REWARD - Ranaway from the subscriber, on Wednesday, 12th inst., from the team on the road to Baltimore, near the first gate on the Harford Road, a NEGRO BOY, by the name of WM. HENRY SMITH, alias GIBBS, between 18 and 19 years old, 5 feet 8 or 10 inches high, copper color, and had on an old fur cap, red and drab coat, and new home-made pants. The above reward will be paid for his return to me, near Jarrettsville, Harford county, or lodged in jail so that I may get him again.
